A small shop that frames the big moments
Basic Blue is a family printing and framing shop at Safari Office Park. Mareé has run it since 1994. We print, cut, mount and join everything in the shop, so a job that takes weeks elsewhere is often ready here in days.
What we do
- Photos on canvasprinted here on our wide-format printer and stretched by hand over a 38 mm bar
- Framinga wall of mouldings to choose from, mounts cut to size, glass or acrylic
- Jerseys and shirtssigned or just loved, boxed so the number and the badge show
- Medals and memorabiliadeep box frames for collections, caps, boots and the odd t-shirt
- Certificates and photosthe quick, tidy jobs: a degree, a baby photo, a family grid
- Artoriginals and prints for your walls, framed to suit the room
Printed here, not sent away
Our own wide-format printer
Every canvas starts on the Titan-Jet in the back of the shop. We print it, check it as it comes off the roll, and stretch it by hand in the same room. That is why a job that takes weeks elsewhere is often ready here in days, and why the colour on your wall matches the photo on your phone.
- Wide-format, so a whole-wall A0 canvas prints in one piece
- Printed, checked and stretched under one roof
- The same machine prints our own banners and signage
